You may have noticed the SRES after my name. What does this mean? SRES stands for Senior's Real Estate Specialist. (No, it doesn't apply to my age, although I soon will qualify). SRES is a designation given to a select few Real Estate professionals who have taken the necessary courses and passed the mandatory exam to earn the title SRES. This is a highly thought of designation that is recognized throughout North America. Through these courses the SRES learns about the many options available to those over 50 of varying activity and ability levels. From aging in place with or without assistance to full constant care in a nursing home and everything in between, the options are many. A SRES is also trained to work with the senior's families to guide all concerned through what can be a challenging process.
